If you have interest in any of the following, Loot Council is great to join:
1) Interest in growing your responsibilities within guild (perhaps you want to be an officer someday)
2) You have an interest in seeing how loot is distributed
3) You want more involvement with the guild than just providing DPS, healing, tanking or CC (to use examples).
... and a few other things.
Loot Council Whose Who:
Head Officers - Ashgabkat
Assistant Officer - Tallanor
DKP/Loot Logging Officer - Ashgabkat,Sylina
Channel: resoloot:resoloot
These are the duties required of Loot Council (this is a position with bonus points available).
1) Read the information in the Loot Information forum and this forum to ensure you understand our system
2) Ask questions if you have them
3) Be in the LC channel when on raids
4) Take tells on loot as it drops
5) Look up the stats and select the winner, using the criteria established on the message board
6) Grats the winner (including the amount won for-40, 30, 20, 10, 5/0)
7) Write down the names of loot winners and their cost so you can award things correctly.
The points you earn at the end of the month are based on your raid attendance. However, LC officers have the right to adjust those points down in cases of a LC member not upholding their duties. (For example, if someone raided but did not join LC or did not do loot calls consistently, we may lower that person's bonus down appropriately).
LC is a channel with both officers and members. Members should be the first ones to do the loot calls; officers jump in when there is a need.
Points Earned:
<30% RA: 0 points
30-39% RA: 1 point
40-59% RA: 2 points
60-79% RA: 3 points
80-100% RA: 4 points
and 1 extra bonus point can be given to those who do more than their share in a month.
