I downloaded some Station Launcher but it Won;t work. tells me its a preview version and gives me links to update it. Links just give me another preview version. srsyly if I reactivateed to find EQ even more suckier in the support department im going to be angry

Ok, go here http://launcher.station.sony.com/ and download the launcher. The link above in Terr's post is for the newest update to the launcher which takes it out of beta. But first, before you install the launcher, you should uninstall the one you downloaded previously (which is the update), then you can re-update the launcher to make it fully up-to-date.

click on order now, it takes you to the sign in page, sign in and select Seeds of Destruction, it will give you all the expansions before it also.

I really don't know why they make this so hard, I feel for you.
I went in and installed Station Launcher so I could see how to do it.
Installed from here http://launcher.station.sony.com/update/index.html
If you have popups blocked, make sure you allow it to run the add-on. Then run the Station Launcher Installer ( there's a link on the page above). Then start Station Launcher from the desktop shortcut, sign in , and tell it to install EQ. That's as far as I went. I really hope this helps. If that for some reason doesn't work, I would post a query on the Sony EQ boards in tech support forum.
They seriously need to make this easier and more intuitive.

Well, now i'll be late for raids, this station launcher has decided to redownload the whole game before I can get in. LOL.

i run the updates with no help. It keeps telling em to update. What exactly did you do?

I downloaded the Station Launcher itself , then the 2 updates that are linked in red on that same page, the Station Launcher Installer ( which is actually an update), then the SOE Web Installer ( not sure what that does, but it didn't hurt). Started the Launcher from the desktop shortcut, then it started to redownload the whole game from scratch. Stopped it, then poked around on Sony support site. Apparently what it does is install EQ in a different place than before. If you'd rather just let it install from scratch, then let it download and install the game where it wants to.

sigh that and when I install the webinstaller it gives me errors for writing files. I might just used cds.

I got the old school patcher working using old cd's. I just need to transfer burm wait. I guess I have to apply :( What are the tops guilds nowadays serverwide?
