~~ GRIEVANCE/DISAGREEMENT POLICY ~~

Many times over the course of the guild raids or just daily operation, people find ways to disagree with some of the decisions that are made.

YOU ABSOLUTELY have the right to disagree.

We ask though that members follow a few guidelines though to get these addressed.

1. Send a tell to an officer when we are NOT raiding - The officer has the responsibility to address your concern. He will take it to the officer channel and a decision will be decided upon there. Then an officer will infom you of our decision. If we have time, we will inform you of our reasoning as well.

Please be aware that especially on raids there are many time constraints and sometimes they will affect these decisions. Please be aware that all decisions of the pool of officers during the raid are final and binding. Instead, we can talk about it after the raid if you like as discussed in step 3.

Once again time is of the essence on raids. If its something that can wait please just PM us or talk to us outside of raids. Interpersonel issues and raid strats are the type of things we expect to hear ASAP. Good examples of things that can wait are DKP and guild policy issues.

2. Keep it out of guild chat - Please if you have complaints or the officers didn't answer in your favor dont take it to guild/raid chat. We simply can't have this happen. It completely distracts the raid and is not conducive of the good order and discipline of the guild. Officers can not let this happen.

If during a raid, decisions that officers made are taken to guild chat, you will be given 1 warning to stop. If you continue to bring the issue that the officers have already ruled on, disciplinary procedures will be enforced up to and including immediate removing from guild.

This is a strict policy but we cant have every concern going in front of the guild.

Hasty actions like this can cause long term problems and consequences. Not taking it to guild gets everyone a chance to cool down. Your problem will be addressed later after raid once all parties have had time to calm down and collect themselves.

3. If after the officers address your concern you still believe that your concern was not addressed you still have avenues to address them.

The officers after the raid will form a chat channel where we can mediate between the 2 disagreeing parties. If you have a questions with how the raid was run we will stick the raid leadership in chat with you to futher discuss all implications of your idea. We will go the extra mile to ensure that your problems aren't glazed over. All we ask is you keep it out of raid/guild chat.

You also have the right to make a post in the full member section of the boards to discuss it. You also have the right to make a poll for the Full members to implement your idea. Be aware that the officers will present their version as well. You can present your idea to the guild just don't do it in guild chat. We ask that if you have questions on something to please PM an officer first. Give us a chance to deal with it in private.

4. Be respectful to ALL at all times. You have the right to be respected and not attacked for disagreeing. The officers will extend this right. They also have the same right. Getting angry will not improve the situation on either part. Neither will taking it to the guild if we don't agree with your point of view.

~~ MEMBER DEGUILDING ~~
Do NOT take your guildtag lightly; we don't. Deguilding, especially without warning, will have consequences, so think first - don't just react in the heat of something..

*Note tentative information*
Members who leave guild without warning can, with officer approval, return to guild within 48 hours and not incur a penalty.

Members who are gone for more than 48 hours but less than one week (and who do not join another guild in the interim) can, with officer approval, rejoin the guild but will take a 25% DKP penalty hit.

Members who are gone more than 1 week will lose all their current points.

~~ INACTIVE, OFFLINE MEMBERS ~~
As Everquest raids have shifted over time, Resolution's inactive policy as well changes. As a raiding guild, our focus and allegiance must be to those currently helping the guild to progress while not undermining or forgetting about efforts given by those who helped us get to where we were at some point in the past. Therefore the following policy is in place.

Ex Members Never having worn Resolution Tag

Any ex Primal Evolution or ex Resilience member who has not yet worn the Resolution tag and want to return to the guild, must contact the leadership, who will then make a case-by-case decision. Only players able to raid can be tagged (social players are more than welcome to keep the PE or Resi tag until such time when they are able to raid). Leadership will then make the determination on whether the player can be retagged as an active raider, retagged under a re-integration period or will have to reapply.
- In general, if a player kept the guild informed of their whereabouts, they may fall under an re-integration period or be retagged as an active raider. However if they did not disclose reasons for their inactivity, they may have to reapply and meet all current requirements.

Members who have worn Resolution Tag
Any member who was kicked for disciplinary action must pass leadership approval in order to reapply at any point in the future.

Any member who deguilded or was kicked (for any reason) and applied to another raiding guild close to, at or above our level must reapply and leadership will make the approval/denial decision.

Members who are not online raiding for 3 consecutive months without written notification in the AFK forum will receive a note in guild window indicating date of last raid attended.
- When these players come back to game, they may be given a "re-integration period" (length determined by time off and how far behind the player is). Leadership will let them know what keying/gearing/AA'ing tasks they will need to actively work towards before joining active raiding. During this re-integration period the returning member will be treated as an pledge in terms of raiding allowed, voting, loot and waitlist. Returning members must make an effort to finish requirements speedily; if they do not, they may be removed from guild.

Members who have not raided in 6 consecutive months without written notification in the AFK forum will receive be kicked from guild for inactivity.

If a member was kicked for inactivity while in good standing, did not apply elsewhere and returns later, they must meet all current applicant requirements and reapply as a new member. As with any other applicant, the leadership will decide whether to accept or decline the application and no special treatment will be given to the member.

Note: For members who are gone more than 3 months, the guild will be recruiting to replace them on raids. Therefore, when coming back, returnees will need to recognize their position on raids, and in the raid may be less than they were used to, and their class may already be at capacity for gearing issues (tying into raid spots, gear and waitlist).

Any member that is AFK and gives notice, will be kept in the guild as long as constant communication is kept going.
